L3 - Call for manuscripts

L3 - Liège Language and Literature - is an active independent publishing house based in the English department at the Université de Liège. In existence since 1991 it has overseen the publication of a number of books based on varied explorations of literature, language, linguistics, and the interfaces between the different disciplines. Areas covered within L3 publications to date include postwar American poetry, the use of language as an instrument of power, a collection of the writings of Wilson Harris, translation studies, and much more. For a full list of publications please visit the L3 website.

Historically L3 has in the main published volumes of collected essays, often in the form of conference proceedings, but not exclusively so. It is interested in publishing both collections of essays and works by single authors on any area of literary and cultural studies, and also works or monographs dealing with the application of linguistics to literature.

If you are interested in having your manuscript published by L3 then please contact Bénédicte Ledent at the Université de Liège.
